As they said (Tony&Phil) yesterday in the Fansforum, that they got plans A, B, C & D for the wagebill problem. So hopefully they have things sorted up.

A thread which was done in much more detail when this information first can to light a couple of months ago, when the accounts were published. 'A quarter of a billion' - we all know its £177m, which is scary enough, no need to exaggerate to make your case. FFP applies (if it will ever be applied, over which there is considerable doubt) to the current year's accounts (which may be even worse) not those which have been published.

You may be right Telford that TF is the devil incarnate. But your facts are wrong. Tony and the shareholders own the club, they owe the money to themselves. There are no interest payments to 'service'. If he walks away he loses all hope of ever getting any return on his investment. He said at the fans forum yesterday that the debt will be written off (perhaps in the same way that Leicester's owners wrote their £120m investment off, through an equity issue - my speculation).. I have no idea how all this impacts on FFP - though what we do know is that half the Championship clubs and the Premier League have said its unworkable and unfair, and legal challenges are being considered.

Also you forget the new stadium. This is a massive property development, not just a football pitch, they will get their investment back and more if they are the owners of a large chunk of Canary Wharf West.

I'm not denying its an uncomfortable position to be in and mistakes have been made - but these mistakes have been made on the playing side of the club more than anywhere else, the biggest of all being relegation last year. If anything I hope that TF has learned that anything 'football people' tell him is likely to be self serving bollocks.

    You're an idiot.

You wanted COLIN sacked the moment we sealed promotion. But you wouldn't say who you thought should replace him.
You wanted Hughes sacked but you wouldn't say who you thought should replace him.
You want Redknapp sacked but you won't say who you think should replace him.

    You're a bluffer. Nothing more.

Pistols at dawn is the only way to sort it out between you two. This would bring an end to this going around in circles.

Leave him alone, his beloved Chelsea got beat so hes in a bad mood.

He goes round in circles on his own as I never see his posts, kind of like a cat chasing its own tail.

Yes and the idiot still replies but I never see a thing he writes, I think that winds him up even more.

Before we get into this sb can we agree on the figures? £177m is our current level of debt. I've added an optimistic projection of this years loss @ £30m. Even without FFP that'll be £207m. Chuck in FFp thats £226m. So £207-£226m based on an optimistic loss projection. Going on for a quarter of a billion no? I don't need to exaggerate to make my point. This is after a full two seasons in the most cash-rich league in world football followed by a year's parachute payments. We are screwed. #FinancialFreefallftw

Whatever floats ya boat I guess. Also can we also agree I never called Teflon Tone "the devil incarnate". I've stated that he's responsible for this financial and footballing clusterfuck, and that his reckless and irresponsible gambling has turned a club on the up into a laughing stock, and left us all reliant on his own good graces to salvage the situation. #NotHoldingMyBreath

Where we are now has happened on his watch.

    My facts are 100% correct.

He did not say the debts would be written off. He said they were "discussing" writing them off. And by that I'd guess they're finally recognising ffp and how they can "get around it" at minimum cost to their real prize. I hadn't forgotten the massive property development. They definitely haven't.

The legality of ffp? Pfft. Toss a coin. It was voted for by all bar 6 (I think) teams in the Championship. We agreed to membership of this league before we kicked a ball last August. I'm sure the masses will be out with their flaming brands and pitchforks marching on Whitehall to demand justice for Teflon Tone. I say again toss a coin. There'll be no sympathy for such a classless act as we've become.

And "mistakes have been made on the playing side"? Teflon Tone ditched Warnock, the guy that got us "there" and made Mark Hughes the 13th best paid manager in the world. That's the world. Not the Prem. Not English football. The World. Harry Redknapp the 26th. For the second season running we have outspent Champions League finalists on wages. Pffft.....
