Franck Ribery who can be very influential for France is suffering with a back problem, and has until this weekend to prove that he is fit enough to go to the World Cup. The French team play their last warm up match against Jamaica this Sunday, so we are hoping that Lloyd will give them a few more pains. ;)

Will be interesting to say if he plays him in left wing position in the pre-cup games....

I expect he will find Brazil quite difficult - not too many granny hookers about I should think!

Quite enjoying this warm up game tonight.
Playing a few youngsters does give the team a bit more spark, even if mistakes are made.

Am I correct in thinking that we have only one player at this World Cup?

I thought for a moment you meant England and I was going to make some jibe about which player that might be!

I hope the injury to the Ox is not too serious.
It appeared to me the only reason he sustained that injury is the player that collided with him was on his fourth roll when he went down. If it hadn't been for the theatrical rolls he wouldn't have collided with the Oxlade-Chamberlain and potentially ruined his dream of playing in the world cup.

Just trying to work out who to support. Looks as if it will have to be Algeria.

I think I remember the other half...

My rating was 39. At least I beat Pat Nevin. :(

Amid great excitement I opened a new packet of cereal this morning to find out which "RioFootball" I would have to start my collection. There are only 10 nations for these 'balls' and I have started off with Holland. ;)
