I’d prefer the worst draw, whoever we get there’s going to be people saying it’s easy, or the doom & gloomers, saying we don’t stand a chance. Then there’s just the ones who’ll be shouting how **** & boring England are & how they’ll be supporting Brazil, France, Germany etc, whilst the media will be trying to dig up dead bodies for any player to disrupt the team, although that bit will probably happen in November/December!

Pretty sure England will end up getting Croatia. It’s a World Cup, England have to play Croatia, it’s like, the rules.

Plenty of dead bodies to dig up, most are in the foundations of the stadiums.

I think getting drawn at home is more important than who we play.

We could have a good World Cup. Good talented young team. Strong( if a little over cautious when it matters) manager., Good team ethic. Getting used to going long in tournaments. Out of the way in Qatar so no yobbo problems. What can go wrong. Step forward the Tabloid press..

Think with the cross ethnicity and popularity of soccer now they’ve got to come good sometime . I was in DC a few times and amazed that the green areas between Capitol Hill and the Lincoln Memorial there had soccer pitches ! Not sure that was popular with the traditionalists . There’s got to be real talent that needs bringing over and experiencing the British game.

SSN, Sam Ricketts on a familiar debate, whether Wales is a rugby country or a football country.

It's like someone from East Hull marrying into a West Hull family Chazz.
