Usually when I work on site it's in the UK, like at the Forth. I've been asked my availability for 4 months starting April to supervise the construction of a new oil pipeline through Georgia and Azerbaijan Big money to be made, but the only real benefit is that I should be safe when Iran nukes the UK

Do it mate, dont think of the short term or back home. Keep within your current means and stash away as much of the extra dough as you can and you will be laughing in 5 years time with a cheap as **** mortgage and enough money to set you up modestly for life
Dougie - thanks for your concern Pope - That took me 5 minutes, and most of that was finding pictures to use Agree that someone as incompetent as myself could be involved in this Pud - I'm seriously considering it....but also quitting in the summer. Oh aye and Baku isnt even half as bad as it sounds, a few of my Dad's mates work there and easily prefer it to Africa, South America or Malaysia

**** it, just go. Cant be worse than some of the helloles I've worked in such as Falkirk and Birmingham. It'll be a life experience if anything and I'll be there's some top notch lethal booze kicking about there.
