http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/...talised_at_national_football_museum_1_1414868 I presume that Norwich have sent a petition asking not to have anything of theirs in there, as we know that history to them means nothing!
sweepstake on who? it will either be supers saying he was in the office when the FA selected norwich's clips, Rich saying we should be banned from our own board for talking about history, Beefy just calling us a bunch of ****s, or Carra moaning about window fitters...............................again!
Some of my magic Ipswich Town moments 1. Johnny Wark's Volley in the UEFA Cup Final 2. Marcus Stewart's 2 goals against Bolton in the play-offs 3. Clive Woods wonderful Curler in the FA Cup Semi Final Replay against Leeds 4. Johnny Wark's winner that got us to the cup final 5. Beating Barcelona at home in the UEFA Cup There are plenty more!
The play-off final has special memories for me because i was actually old enough to appriciate it and be there. from the moment when our bus turn to drive up to wembley and all you could see was a sea of blue and white was something special, to moment that Reuser got hold of the ball to run and score, to coming home and our 2 buses pulled into Springfield white hart and we took over the pub singing at the top of our voices. ****ing magic!
Stewart's 2nd goal against Bolton showed real class and composure and as soon as he scored he ran over to us and celebrated his goal. True Class and a Town legend!
Although those playoffs won't probably go down as one of the clubs greatest successes the whole experience was brilliant and will stay with me forever. All 3 matches were full of excitement, 3 great games, great occassions, after years of trying we finally got there and to top it all off the Barnsley fans were top class!!
The barnsley fans were fantastic, the problem i saw was a couple having a scrap between themselves. Also Dave Bassett was a true gentleman when he walked back to the tunnel after the game applauding the Ipswich fans on his way past.
Sorry Guru but I disagree regarding Dave "Harry" Bassett! He was a right miserable **** and has hated Ipswich ever since!
or we could be bitter about being a small club that has achieved zero! whoops, sorry thats norwich's role in life!
