Their fans in the main seem to be anti but it will depend on how they start the season a bad start and the knives will be out big time so Kenny had better keep his Jacket handy it could be a short stay.
He's strikes me as a solid and dependable bloke, not flash, and not much of a personality, in fact not unlike SOD in many ways. I reckon Wolves will be there or there or thereabouts with him in charge.
It's not the manager it's the fans expectations plus the fact they all seemed to want Owen Coyle or the Wally with the Brolly if he doesn't get a good start the discontent will be massive there. Far worse than we have experienced at the Gate over the last few years.
I think he is another like DiCanio or Nigel Pearson - I REALLY wouldn't like to come off the pitch at half or full time not having performed as he reminds me of a Ray Winstone type character. He performed miracles at Millwall and it strikes me that won't tolerate under performance, we could have done with him last year. I think he will sort Wolves out and do really well there but a comparison is pretty hard as they are very different chararacters in their approach - would not have minded him down here at all if SoD hadn't taken the job....
I think God or Sir Fergie would have struggled with the way the majority of our squad performed or perhaps I should say didn't perform last year.
I think the first two have lost it over the last couple of years the third mmmmm Think we screwed the pooch there when the then board decided to bring in Johnny foreigner as DoF without first discussing it with the manager that was a real disaster for the club. I wonder just what he might have achieved had he been allowed to continue as he seemed to have got the team playing and we had just won promotion then we brought in Benny Leonhardofthinkin and everything went tits up.
There is a world of difference in wanting help from someone you know and perhaps trust and getting someone you've never heard of who has no idea about the club or the country that he is going to, plonked down above you and being told he will sort out the players that will come to the club. Which if I remember was what he was faced with admittedly I could be wrong but that's more or less how I remembered it.
