Or is there some truth in this rumour. Jarvis is a good player but he isn't great and at 25, he's older than other players in his position that we've been linked with.
I'd much rather we kept pursuing the Mata transfer and really pushed to get that through tbh. I think the calibre of player we should be looking to sign this transfer window is of a slightly higher nature than this guy. Although that being said i can't say i have particularly watched out for him.
