    FT 2-1

Not a great performance, but a win nonetheless.

    Obika strikes again!

Look forward to hearing from those who were there.

We are not exactly turning it on today. This was a relegation scramble.

Well, if your going to be picky, we're not really near the play offs, as some pretty strange results need to occur now for us to get there. Still, another three points, and the unlikely tail of the season continues.

What a scrap at the bottom! I reckon ten teams still have a chance of going down. We have done well to stay well clear of that.

Some fans must be desperately disappointed at their failures this season. Leicester and Nottingham Forest not even in the play-off places at present and NF played the best football we have seen in this division. When you look at the resources of many of these clubs we have done brilliantly this season. I forecast finish 15th and we are six points clear of that.

Hughes, Jackson and Fuller all had to come off. Risky relying on them match after match as they are all injuries waiting to happen. And it sounds as if it was one match too many for Harriott today. What happened to CP's promise not to overplay him?

    Blackburn 12-0 Crystal Palace
    Leicester 0-3 Watford
    Cardiff 4-1 Bolton
    Middlesbrough 0-8 Charlton
    Millwall 1-1 Forest

    Millwall 1-0 Palace

    Bolton 1-1 Blackpool
    Charlton 7-0 Bristol City
    Palace 0-14 Peterborough
    Forest 0-0 Leicester

I think we'd sneak through with the above results.

    Game on ;)

At the bottom, I think the teams on 55 are safe

By far,,,,,far,,,,,,far..... the dirtiest team to visit the Valley this season, what has happened to the team that cruised to the Prem playing really good football a few seasons ago?

    HORRIBLE TO WATCH!

My men of the Match were Dervite/Morrison forming a solid partnership :D

They may be the starting CB pair for next season <ok>

I fancy 8-0 at the Riverside, as we've had some miserable afternoons up there. To be honest, it's nice enough just to start to win at home after so many dour performances, and looking at the scrap below us, we're well out of that.
I wondered about Wolves, as the Sky Sports updates stared to churn out yellow cards. I suppose maybe their game plan was to win (or draw) ugly, and in their position you can't blame them. Glad we won though, as it's never pleasant to see that sort of football rewarded at our expense.

They should have been down to 10 men..... the Hunt assault on Hamer was worthy of a red!

Good job it was a nice day! One of the worst games of football I've ever seen, especially first half. Green changed the game. Pity it took a combination of injuries to persuade the manager to put him on. Wolves abysmal. How on earth Hunt, Doyle et al made a premiership career I'll never know. We've done very well to pull ourselves out of the mire. But it's not an easy watch.

Poor match, Wolves fans deserve better than that team, they played as if they were already down and only made any effort once we took the lead. We were not at our best but a win at home is so good after most of this season. Will be interesting to see if CP gets to build on what hes learnt this season......thats if its all over. Next Saturday will be interesting monitoring 4 matches at once

Just noticed that we've now had only 4 goals from substitutes off the bench all season - I would imagine that's a low?

we'd be in the playoffs easy
palace would be out of the playoffs

If SCP had learned how to use substitutes earlier in the season we'd be in the playoffs now!

PS. That's not n anti CP comment. I'm a big fan but just saying........

Probably, but it is twenty times more likely that one of them will still go down that that we could still make the play-offs before the Wolves game, and some of our posters seemed to think that was still worth clinging to.

Could Wolves and Peterboro' both get 4 points from their last two games? Unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Could Blackburn get 2 points from their last two games? Very possible. Could the massive club lose their last two games as well? Very possible. If all those things happened, Sheff Wed now on 55 points would be down. I won't go into the other, even less likely, scenarios.
