Now that the transfer window is now officially open do you think that news of departures and new signings will now be made known. are our out of contract players now free agents and can therefore talk to other clubs and can Rovers now withdraw any offers made

I didnt realise Adam Dawson has been released! Thought he had another year left on his contract! Also, Leicester keeper Conrad Logan has been released!

I don't know what the rules would have been for signing free agents had Leicester released him earlier. but I feel sorry for him that he was unable to play a part at Wembley. He deserved the opportunity.

Graham Burke (Villa) would be a good signing. Lundstrum (Everton) reminds me of Dominic Blizzard, every time I've seen him he's done naff all.

Adam Campbell would be a good signing. Has been loaned to Gatesheads from Newcastle so could drop to league 2 level. But maybe he was happy to drop to non league as it was local to him as Gateshead is just down the road from Newcastle.

Just signed some kid called Clarke! Anyone know anything about him, other than he played for Woking? Can't really remember him playing against us but then I guess defenders rarely stand out at matches anyway

Another ex Salisbury player who DC has worked with before. I'm sure he's decent...

Hopefully DC is doing his business quietly. I think that many Gasheads are looking at the squad and thinking 'can we really improve on Easter and Harrison up front from what's available?' in terms of strikers, and the defence will be pretty decent at L2 level too. They've been together for a while now and have all got better.

The two main issues this summer will be whether we can secure Chris Lines who could be key to a successful campaign, and, of course, what Justice Proudman decides.

Having said that, there's bound to be a surprise signing that will blindside us all before August - such as Lines last season - I couldn't believe it when we signed him!!
