As we're now into yet another international break, I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask fellow posters how I can improve my understanding of the game in general. Despite watching football around the country, and City in particular for more than 40 years man and boy, I now realise that I lack knowledge of the game and need educating on the finer points. As such, I fear I'm no longer qualified to offer opinions on this forum without prior clearance. It's difficult for me to admit, but I've also become depressed over all this - can anyone help?
I think you've proven your point Sparkler. Unless there's something I've missed I would think it's time to move on. I don't particularly like blue on blue or is it red on red or is it red on blue or ...........
Moi - having a go at someone? Whatever next!.................. Swampy - slapping your face is wrong. Do it on top of your head on match days and you'll be allright.
Never mind blue on blue or red on red, I prefer watching a bit of girl on girl if you know what I mean. Can be a bit of a tongue twister though. Apologies to our female contributors before anyone has a pop at me.
When I was courting my wife she drank 10 tequilas without any effect. I asked her how she holds her liqueur? By the ears was her reply.
Admitting it is the start Sparkey. However, whatever you do, don't watch the internationals. It'll teach you less about football than you already think you might know and reafirm the bits you thought you should know but didn't whilst contradicting the things you thought you should know but didn't making you think you did all along. Anyway, now that's cleared up, I think you're posting on the wrong board, you should be seeking guidance from our betters out west.......... ........ NO, further west, Brazil!!!!
Thank you for that advice remote - the rest of you are not taking this seriously! How can I improve my understanding of good football without watching Swansea? BTW, how is Heidur doing?.................
Starting to read the game a bit better and I think if he works on his pace he may get a 3 yard toe poke or two. He needs to work on his heading as well. Some people think he does a lot of unsung work and that the rest of us don't appreciate what he's doing. What they don't realise is that they are being second guessed by Heidi, that's what he wants you to think. Actually, he just goes missing for large parts of the game.
OK, let's see if I can get this right. Heidur is not really a target man, but he'll lurk around the box to get the toe pokes in (and the odd header as well) if he plays off someone else? Does that mean that we should start with Rudy and play Heidur off him? If that means a true classic 4-4-2, who would need to be that middle 4 to bring the pace we need?
ITI What do you mean WILL end up like this? Anyone know any cures for blisters? Sparks is this a football forum? Or is Heidur a girl's name and you are talking in code?
Bluey - I told you I was willing to learn. Is it Heidur, Heider, Heidar............or shall we continue to call him Heidi to be on the safe side?.....
Sparkey I'd say you're a lost cause and should move onto simpler sports like extreme ironing or perhaps one of these: http://www.cracked.com/article_16697_the-8-most-baffling-sports-from-around-world.html
A thug, an adulterer, a racist and a footballer walk into a pub. The bar man says???????????????????????????????????????????
