I like Willo as a person and on his day he can be very good but I can't help see him as a squad player. I think 6-7 million of the Carroll cash has to go on a big brute of a centre half to play alongside the football brain of colo. Someone of the Hangeland,Huth mould!!!!
Awful in the first half and improved in the second.. although still looked way too shaky for my liking and his lack of pace is really leaving him exposed.. he just isn't quick enough.
His defending isn't consistent enough, but I don't think Taylor's is either! To be brutally honest I wouldn't be worried much if both left in the summer and we bought a good centre-back and maybe another depending on how Kadar gets on at Huddersfield.
I like Williamson, I think he's decent but does seem to have his days. I wouldn't say Taylor is a huge improvement?
He was bad in the first 20 mins, but so were most of the players mate. He was good second half. Only Cheik Tiote was great both halves because he's Cheik Tiote.
well I still think the high defensive line is at fault - yeah obviously williamson was pretty bad in the first half but we could use him better if we didn't play so high up!
