Stats are all good and well but they don't tell the full story do they. Personally I have always thought he creates, he's not a typical winger though and creates better from deeper. He also has lost the ball a fair amount up the pitch which breaks the attack down. Either way its good to have at least 2 options for each position and this is good competition. For me Byram will hopefully be back to competing for the RB slot which will be tough due to Berardi's strong start. Think he will get it back eventually.
What's the problem with having two good players for each position. We're not going to survive a 46 game season without suspensions and. Injuries. Only last Saturday I read some were complaining our bench looked too weak. Make up your minds ffs
