    I got laughed a couple of months ago for saying he's the new Ronaldo, now that you've watched him in pre-season, i bet some of you are eating a bit of humble pie.

    Matt, he's not the new Ronaldo. He's done well enough in a few pre-season matches and well that's it.

    i seem to remember Fergie saying we were after him for a couple of months, i also seem to recall that Liverpool and Arsenal were very interested in him as well.
