If ever a player wanted it tonight this was it,he ran and ran and ran, thought he was mom by a mile.
Well done to him,yet i wanted to see simon cox play tonight, but carry on playing like tonight and i be more than happy to leave cox on the bench.
Even though i think he is a top top striker.

Much better display all round. Freeman looked much sharper, Smith much quicker on the ball,Wilbs was a handful and we defended well when we had to- Made Forest look ordinary I though and perhaps deserved a 3rd goal. Fieldings save in the first half was outstanding.

Great win tonight, Korey Smith and Baker were my choice for MOTM, overall great team performance

A great win, well worth getting up at 0530 for. An all round good team performance, Flint, Baker and Fielding excellent at the pack, with Wilbs and Kodija grafting hard up top. Pretty solid in the middle, though Bennett was non existent second half, and should have come off about 10-15 mins before he did. Williams was good going forward, but a bit dodgy defending...

A clean sheet is a real bonus and will now hopefully give the much needed confidence boost. Onwards and upwards, we need to keep that tempo and momentum in the coming games now.

Started like an express and really pleased with 3 points at home at long last

    BUT

Against a team that could finish we may have still buckled. Forest looked comfortable in possession but had no real goal threat, Mind you their two main strikers are out injured. Fielding still doesn't give me any confidence, despite a great save in the first half.

And we still looked nervous at times, especially in the 2nd half, and there were some individual mistakes that SC needs to work on. Smith came into his own after the break after a quietish first half.

And for Christ sake Wilbs and Ayling, when you're presented with a golden opportunity to score, hit the bloody ball as hard as you will. Had we not been leading at the time one or both of those missed opportunities could have ended up costing us.
