This Saturday gives us the ideal chance to bounce back vs a Wigan side who appear in total disarray. With some look, Callum McManaman may have joined the baggies before the weekend. I thought he looked a very good player in the prem.

No idea what's happened at Wigan for them to fall so quickly. 10 years ago they beat us for 2nd, could we got up and them down this year!? Stranger things have happened.....

If we harbour any hope of a top 2 finish, it goes without saying three points are an absolute must.

I would love Parr to return at RB. Helps the balance of the side more than anything. Could we have a new signing in place before the game? I would go with this.....

    Bialokowski

    Parr/ Chambers/ Berra/ Mings

    Skuse/ Bishop

    Anderson Bru

    Murphy/ Sears.

I think Freddy could be well worth a go from the start in this one...........

2-0 town. I think we should have too much, but the games a banana skin for sure........... Thoughts?

Big weekend of Championship football (they all are when you're nearer the top)

'Bournemouth V Watford' & then 'Brentford V Middlesborough' before we even kick a ball.. plus Derby travel to the enigma that is Cardiff City so could make some ground on some of those around us <ok>

I agree Westy that Parr has to be getting the nod at RB, regardless of who is dropped we simply need to be using players in their correct position. that said I can't see Mick venturing too far from his 442 and usual line up. I would imagine it will look something like...

    Bart
    Parr | Chambo | Berra | Mings
    Ando | Bru | Skuse | Hunt
    Murph | Hunt

Fancy a win this weekend and some recovery of form.. Murph, Hunt (N) and Sears to score in a 3-1 win <ok>

All games are potential banana skins but coming off a break, hopefully refreshed and refocused, this should be 3 points. To maintain the auto push it needs to be.

I can't imagine we'll do a lot more business, Sears coming in gives us the option of using McGoldrick as the creative force from Midfield/the hole. With Stewart coming into contention on the Wing and Parr as an option in the full back positions, although we would benefit from reinforcements in all positions, there's nowhere we're desperate to fill.

The Bish is playing in today's Under 21 match... Not too sure if anything can be deduced from that but would appear to be a little odd

Perhaps Mick feels that he needs some Game Time to get back to full fitness.

    2-1 Town
I think the second team from Spanish will be the one that takes the field (no start for Sears though, probably McG) but would prefer to see S Hunt out on the left. Tabb doesn't do well out there and Hunt takes good corners.

Murphy to score again and then Sears off the bench to really give Mick something to think about.
It will be interesting to see if Mick does something different with the team given his options now.

I think MM will shock us all and pick Spanish's first 11.

For me that is our best/most exciting 11 ATM !

No it's the maximum Warky, assume maths wasn't your strong point at school ;)

Understand what you mean though. Wigan H looks a great opportunity to me. Especially when the other fixtures this weekend are- Bournemouth v Watford ( fri ) and Brentford v Boro before we kick a ball sat.

Tonight we have....Derby v Blackburn, so we could be fourth in a few hours. Come on Blackburn!

Away at Rotherham does appear a good chance too. That said Mick enjoys a draw on the road. 4 points would be alright, keeps us ticking.
