Kimberley Miners, a 27-year-old glamour model who has posed for tabloid papers such as the Sun, is thought to be in contact with a British fighter in Syria. Officers understand he wants her to leave the UK and join the group’s so-called ‘caliphate’ in Iraq and Syria. Miners, from Bradford, has apparently appeared on social media with the alias Aisha Lauren al-Britaniya, and has posted images of jihadist women posing with rifles and other weapons.
