I dont think that made much difference. It was already 3-3 and they was only about 5 mins left. Vaughans got a goal in his locker unlike Catts!
We are the first team to take a point off Man City at their place for over a year, it could/should have been three with our fantastic performance, and it is still not good enough for certain supporters...Not mentioning any names like Monty..
The truth is, IMO, we had the game won, away at City and had it wan well. We lost 2 points through some fight from City, bad luck and a bit of running out of steam. At 3 today who would have taken that performance and a point, I would, TBH I would have taken that performance and no points.
That's how I would look at it like. Coming away being the only side to take points from them at their ground this season.
Remember football is a 90 minute game (plus injury time) so just because your teams winning 3-1 with 10 minutes left, it doesn't mean you have any right to win the game as city just went for it and you had no devine right to have 3 points just because you was in the lead. At least you got something from the game as i watched my team get robbed at city and lose the game in the final seconds!
