Just been having an early morning twitter browse again... Some guy (person A) is suggesting its pretty much done, which as you'd expect, has made others question his credibility. However, "person A" is being defended by another guy (who I respect for not being a bull****ter) and this guy (person B) is informing others that "person A" was on the money about the date, time, and announcement of the sigurdsson transfer. So there could well be some truth in this..
As far as I recall the player 'chose' to stay in Brazil, there really isn't much anyone can do if the player himself doesn't want to go.
I think it was more a case of the decision being made for him. Our bid wasn't high enough to persuade Inter to tell him that he didn't really want to stay in Brazil.
