Hey to all you tiger fans :grin

I don't really write very often on these forums, be it on here or vital or any for that matter, i generally just use them for my own benefit and as an aid to keep me up to scratch with our club, seen as the BBC has bored me with the "McKenna set to join hull" story for the past week or so.

My point in writing a thread or post, call it what you may is that i think some of you, the minority it seems, complain far too much about matters that really shouldn't effect you at all.

The biggest one i wanna talk about is the moaning about lack or signings or so forth.

Begin by turning your mind back to the day we got relegated, it stunk !!! it was horrible. I went into the following season in the Championship with massive hopes and sights of a rapid return to the PL. I was dragged into the naive option. those first few weeks/months were we saw the club fall into ridiculous debt, an owner who couldn't give two flying ****'s about the club and a team full of seriously overpaid nobjockeys who too could not give a flying **** about the club, us, the team, the winning etc.

Now fast forward to present day.

were warming up for our second shot at possibly the best experience i've ever had as a city supporter, joing the PL again. (although it is a money making load of **** i still wanna be there).

we have gone from that team of overpaid junkies to a team that if i break it down for those simpletons looks like this. which i believe looks so promising compared to many a years gone by.

GK - Oxley for now, but still when i have seen him play in reserves or training (few times but still.) he looks good. experience of course needed and we will probs buy a keeper.

we have Liam Rosenior who despite my username i think was bargain of the season for the league, not just us. he was free, and has proved to be worth much more than the £££'s we spent on the junk in the prem.

we have Chester, Stewart, Evans, Dudgeon who are all young, eager, willing to learn athletes. they have a passion and drive which to be honest most players we had the past 3 years haven't even heard of that word let alone do it. they have come from arguably the best footballing school in the world (MU). you could add to this young list with Cooper, Cairney, Cullen, Simpson.

we have a striker in fryatt that is quality. i think he has proven his worth twice over to all of us and if he still hasn't then you need to slap yourself and get back into reality. hes young too and seems to have a passion and drive aswell.

we have mclean, who yes has had his moments but he too looks willing to fight for us, play well, win things and pay back us fans.

we have dawson, a loyal servant, who i will not go into as if your a true city fan, despite his ability drifting off of recent (maybe age??) he has always put his heart and soul into this team.

we have garcia who like andy dawson has his lovers and his haters. but me, i love him, he works hard, he has ability and i see him as a genuine guy wanting to play for us, win things, work hard and push on.

we have nick barmby who age could be an argument but if your stupid enough to question this guys lack of trying i will suggest you go on some form of pills or medication. this is open for debate but i believe he, even at his age has bags of ability. he makes the whole squad look a shambles when hes on it.

we have (from the rumours maybe not) koren too, he is 50/50 with me. he can be a class player when awake, alive and in the game but when hes got his head still stuck on a flight back from slovenia and not in the game he can be awful. but his ability is not one to be questioned.

as far as im aware (according to wiki) i have covered the basics, (**** JIMMY!!! hes not gettin a mention, i will gladly agree with you all on him.)

but take a look at the squad, yesssss we need maybe few signings here and there, but the backbone in my opinion is solid !!! we have a great set of players, all with bags of ability. theres youth so there is platforms for the future, and there is a mix of knowledge and experience in barmby, koren and etc.

I know i am boring you now and your just wishing for this to end but i just wanted to open peoples eyes to the fact that were not in a terrible situation if the season was to begin tommorow. i would more then gladly see those lads i have mentioned pull on the shirt and turn out for us. I believe some have judged too quickly, they have been a bit part glued together jobby last season. i believe those lot will shine next year.!! (watch me say this they go on to be shocking.)

but yeh, sorry for rambling, just we dont need messi's, ronaldo's or kakas etc to compete. we are hull city not man city. we have a quite capable squad and a tidy one at that. many a clubs would snatch our squad off us.

i think this year may be a good one!!! touch wood.

thanks for reading and i apologize if it seemed a little rambled, its nearly 1am.

feel free to debate, even slate me if you wish, were all here to shout out our opinion.

    :) Youuuuuu 'Ullllll

non taken, errrm basically i feel alot are windging about worrying were not signing anyone, and i was trying to say if the season began tommorow i would not complain. i think personally we have a great squad. a mix of youth, talent, experience and desire etc etc... i enjoy reeling off our players now to a friend. i used to feel a tit saying "ooooh we have bullard, you know that money grabbing git, altidore that tool who couldn't hit a cloud with a plane or so forth, we have that zayyatte lad who loves to score in his own net and etc.)

just saying our teams fab, i aint worried we aint signed nobody yet, i know we will and i know NP will make a great choice and the squad will be competitive. just hate people who always want more than is needed. its them sort of people who if we gave the club to would run it into the ground.

    rant over :)

"they have come from arguably the best footballing school in the world (MU)".

Not quite, Ajax and Sporting Lisbon are better.

And if the likes of Evans, Stewart, McShane, Dudgeon and others should be in there add also Jorge Cadete, Miguel Veloso and João Moutinho. I have others if you want <party>

I think the fact that our Macca was included in that list does make this rather obvious :p
