Gomez is a former player (loan) and left us to go to Wigan with Martinez. Former players usually draw a few boos, some good natured, some not so. Even when he was with us, Gomez did like a dive or two and it didn't help matters that he "helped" Nathan Dyer get sent off at your place last season.
He didn't do himself any favours with his dig at Vorm when he was trying to get a quick ball out either Hope your question has been answered
