Why so long ??

    Why is it taking so long to find a new manager, I know I'll have the "need to find the right guy" etc etc, but Florist sack the poison dwarf yesterday and get a new manager today ??

    Why hasn't Prophet been installed yet !!

    I share your frustration Yanto. Being patient is one thing but it can only last for so long.

    On the flip side though, Davies sacked and Wally instated in less than 24hrs doesn't sit right with me (not that I'm accusing the trees board of anything)
    I'd sooner our board took their time in choosing the right man but c'mon GJ, AW, TG, VT....there's a limit :)

    Much as I respect Proph, I fear that he may spend too much time in the stands. Have you seen him when he loses his rag. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his blowdryer. . . :mad:

    Apparantly as announced on Sky yesterday and appointment may not be forthcoming until next week !!!!!
    Anyway im off to John Lewis now !!!

    announced on Sky yesterday and appointment may not be forthcoming until next week
    Holy crap - the fixtures are published later this week!

    It may not be the end of the world (not having a new manager in place) but it would be better if whoever the new guy is actually had some time with his new team/players before it all kicks off again in August.

    I read that Gullit is facing the sackski tonight if he doesn't win. Now Shearer's in the frame, I'll throw anyone in there.

    No manager at all is better than a manger with a grand total of 8 weeks experience who's already managed to get a relegation under his belt.

    I'm hoping there's no need, but I'm going to set out my stall right now, SHEARER OUT!!!!

    In fairness he was on a hiding to nothing at Toon from the start so I'd have to give him a chance to see what he could do from scratch but I'm not feeling good about this one.
    I just don't like him. Obviously it's nothing personal but he annoys the **** out of me on MOTD and IF it's him, I just hope he can turn me around because I'm pissed off feeling negative towards the club. My optimism has been drained over the past week.
