..............and will we ever no why ? IMO if Mr Lambert did nothing wrong, has nothing to hide and it was the NCFC board that were not playing by the rules, why the hell doesn't he just say something? His comments stop short of slander but I'm pissed off with him for his persistent snide remarks about my club. Did City cough up to prevent him from spilling the beans ? I know this is really all 'water under the bridge' now, but wouldn't you really like to know? I know I would.

Personally, I'd like to remember him fondly, but it's becoming more and more difficult.

Lol he's being like Argentina over the Falklands or Spain over Gibraltar.... things are going wrong, bring up the past and blame other people to get yours to rally around you.

I don't think so.My own feeling is that when something like this rumbles on this long there is no smoke without fire. Now it may well be that both sides are convinced of their position but that doesn't necessarily mean that both or either are correct. And if Lambert knows the true story then somebody inside our club does too.

As far as I am concerned Lambert was the best manager we ever had.A difficult personality yes,but so was Fergie. And as PG Wodehouse observed you are never going to mistake a Scotsman with a grievance for a ray of sunshine.

It's just Lambert playing games. He's piling on the pressure before the game. He knows that we haven't beaten him in three attempts since he left and all the pressure is already on us, so he's trying to ratchet it up another level. From his point of view, makes sense.

To an extent, but don't forget it's Villa who could be in the bottom three after this round, possibly even if it ends in a draw.True that had a tricky start but home defeat to a Mags team that was being touted as relegation candidates isn't good.Imagine what would be being said if we had got that result.I think the pressure is on Villa.
