He's been released on a free, so we can snap him up. At his age, he'd be a good calm head for the final. Very able finisher and would be happy to be rotated to manage his fitness. Just a thought.

saha on a free? We could still get him then as the free transfer window runs until March (I think).
His wages may be an issue but I'm sure he could be signed for the remainder of the season on a pay as you play basis. That would be awesome.

Good shout that. He would be a damn useful squad player, and historically he always impresses in his first few games for a new club and we could profit from that very nicely until the season end, thank you very much ;)

I'm afraid he's well past it lads. Was in his last season at Everton before he somehow got a move to Spurs.

I'd take a punt on him till the end of season. On a short term contract, if he does well then we can increase it.

Chico would just try and kick his head off in training. It's a no-no for me.

In my head he's worth a punt. Graham's wages freed up and only Moore and Schecter on the bench...

But I'm sure Laudrup has target's lined up for the loan window.

We can't loan anyone as the window for premier league clubs closed a couple of days ago.

My bad. Too many years in the Football League where there is still a separate loan window... So we can loan out to Football League clubs between 8th Feb and 24th March but nobody comes in? In which case, Saha for 6 months as a squad member sounds ideal.

Put it this way, if he's fit he's better than both Schechter and Moore. I know his fitness is a gamble but he might be worth a punt for 4/6 months and I doubt he will price himself out of a deal.

Future would be best no doubt. Hopefully unearthing a new Michu. But, with the window closed, would he be a good stop gap. I feel we are crossing our fingers a bit too much that Michu will stay fit and in form. Saha would give teams something else to think about. Like others have said, I would definitely just say till the summer as a stop gap.

saha well worth signing up on a pay as you play.

just a thought ....I'd love Luke Moore to have a good run now and show a real hunger and pride in the shirt

donnelly has been here long enough now and if he cant play our style then get rid. give him a few first team starts and see how he does. Its not as if we are in any sort of danger of relegation and the only thing it will effect is the players final bonus if we slip down the league...

Glad you mentioned him Dai, I was going to ask about him. Donelley sounded like he had so much promise and we beat a number of clubs to sign him. What's happened to him? With our present situation is it time to give him a run? Is he worth the chance of a run? I don't think I have ever even seen him on the bench but I could be wrong being so far away.
