Too many people have been reading Leggo's blog it seems, not a problem that they read it but it is difficult to understand how anyone could believe it, well it would be if not for the fact that we've all seen extracts from Follow Follow, Rangers Media and the like.

A statement from David Whitehouse, joint administrator, said: “The direction from Lord Hodge in the Court of Session in Edinburgh last Friday clarified important issues relating to the status of the arrangement between Ticketus and Rangers Football Club and our powers as administrators in relation to contractual rights.

“This has allowed the bidding process for the Club to move away from the previous uncertainty the issue caused. The direction has also enabled us to have intensive and constructive discussions throughout this week to confirm the levels of interest and the structure of any offers.

“It would be inappropriate for us to comment on the merits of individual bids but, in general, several parties have pursued their declared interest in the Club and five bids submitted have been subject to greater scrutiny.

“We fully understand the desire of supporters to see the bidding process concluded as soon as possible and have asked three bidders to submit best and final offers by Wednesday April 4.

“It is likely that a successful bidder will require a period of exclusivity to commit to final due diligence thereafter. Bids have inevitably been the subject of widespread comment and speculation but at this stage it would be unwise to perceive any particular party to be a preferred bidder, and the bidding process remains open for all parties until April 4.”

Meanwhile, it emerged that a meeting between the Rangers Fans Working Group and the SFA chief executive, Stewart Regan, ended in disarray at Hampden Park late on Thursday afternoon when he walked out, having stated that he “was not prepared to tolerate accusations of bias”.

The meeting, which was requested by the FWG, began civilly enough, with the supporters’ group asking to discuss implementation of standards of good behaviour throughout the game in Scotland. There followed a discussion about whether the SFA should pursue charges against Rangers when the club was effectively without leadership and there were questions about how the governing body of Scottish football might assist the club.

However, the meeting moved into more turbulent waters when it was suggested by the fans’ representatives that the SFA were not regarded by the Rangers support as impartial. When Regan stood up to leave, one of the six FWG representatives said: “Is that you off to report to Peter Lawwell [the Celtic chief executive]?”

Regan replied: “Quelle surprise.” He made to shake hands with another representative, who refused, saying: “On your bike.”

A statement from the FWG said: “The Fans Working Group consider that our concerns were put forward in a sensible and helpful manner and are therefore both shocked and disappointed that Mr Regan chose to behave in such an unprofessional manner.” The SFA also issued a statement last night, which included the comment: “It was a major disappointment to the chief executive that a cordial meeting descended into the type of questioning and intemperate language more suited to internet forums.

“The chief executive reiterated during the meeting that he was not prepared to endure comments that implied bias towards the Scottish FA and its staff. Despite this, a further comment about there ‘not being a level playing field’ was made.

“The final straw was an embarrassing outburst from one member of the group that served only to undermine their credibility as a collective representative body supposedly serving the best interests of the wider Rangers support.

“It is disappointing that this behaviour ruined what should have been a constructive introductory discussion.”

Against this background, Rangers travel to Fir Park knowing that if they beat Motherwell they will postpone Celtic’s title party for at least another week, even if the league leaders beat St Johnstone at home tomorrow.

Ally McCoist, while praising his players for their outstanding performance again Celtic and hoping for a repeat in Lanarkshire, also acknowledged that the time may arrive soon when the club can no longer hold on to some of them.

“All I can say is that I want them to stay. I’m not in a position to say they can stay or in a position to offer them a contract,” he said, in specific reference to Sone Aluko, Sasa Papac and Andrew Little, all of whom are approaching the end of their current contracts.

Dev, when are you going to tell us your definition of "decent celtic fans"

    To clarify referee thinking, lets look at Stuart Dougals comments recently;

Anthony Stokes, in the league cup final "It was only minimal contact-no penalty"
Cha du Ri, sunday "Even minimal contact can bring down a player on the move -penalty"

Dev I am going to ask you on every post I come across that I see you on. I am doing this because I think your statement of
"decent Celtic fans " deserves an explanation and maybe after other contributions you could increase the number of "decent Celtic
fans". Surely it is worth a try, you started it man, so lets have it.

Dev are you the Rangers dickhead as you came up with the "twelfth . I have to say its the last date I would think of.
Tell me Dev, as it seems difficult for you to reply to my request will you admit that the term "decent celtic fans" may have
been the wrong term for you to use, as you don't know what constitutes "decent celtic fans". If you admit that you don't
know I promise that I won't raise it again, and in fact I won't reply to any of your posts if you agree to adhere to not
    replying to mind either.

Will the real Dev stand up and tell us why he is a "decent celtic fan". Previously you posted that you were a failed copper
fired from your job. You also hinted at been a gun-man in Belfast (with the Brits I hasten to add). You would need to tell
us more, if you claim to be a "decent Celtic fan" because the limited bit of information we have about you may not encourage
many to think you were right person to be held up as an icon for "decent Celtic fan". I would have thought that you should
be the last person nominating yourself as a decent celtic fan, as that appears pompous of you.

Pud, I did not start this. Try to be fair and encourage Dev to answer. I hate to say this but you taking Dev's side appears
to be very biased and puts your role as an independent moderator in question.

For the umpteen time I did not raise this it was Dev, encourage him to bring it to an end.
