    if Vidic doesn't come back for the start of next season, like i said in the thread title, who's our vice-captain ? is it Evra ? or Ferdinand ?

    Evra is our vice captain, to be honest Ferdinand should of been given the captain armband in Vidic's absence, Rio is a great leader, he acts like a captain on the pitch but i don't blame Sir Alex for not giving it to him with his injury problems

    If Evra's the vice captain then he get's the armband when the captain's out. Otherwise why would he be the vice captain?

    Ferdinand got stripped of Captaincy when he was out injured a lot, giving it back would be a Capello type move. You also don't need to be the Captain to show leadership on the pitch.
