I definately think we need a new first choice CB. Apparently De Laet played primarily at RB and looked best suited to that position at POrtsmouth last year. I know it wouldn't be Lambert's style, but I'm wondering who Sunderland will be looking to get rid of if they do manage to bring in Wes Brown and John O' Shea? I wouldn't particularly want John Mensah (injuries) or Titus Bramble (idiot) but Michael Turner would be amazing!
They forked out alot of dollar though for turner, wasnt it like £10mil or something ridiculous?? Talking of turner, i see this fellas name pop up alot on random sites, Ben Turner who plays for coventry! The other name i see linked more than others is luke chambers from forest. Chambers if im correct got POTS at forest last season so cant be to bad. As for ben turner, i aint gotta clue about anything to do with him, if hes any good, a rising star etc etc...?
holts_boots- Yeah, just looked Michael Turner up on wiki- may be he is out of our league at this stage! Luke Chambers wld be exactly up Lambert's street and if we cld get him we wld officially have all the best players outside of the premiership last year! (Fact!)
