    Howay the lads!

What do reckon fellas, who's going to get the chop first - Pards or Droopy? And if its Pards, what manager would you like in to replace him?

A lad on our Board posted this and I think he's not far off:

Tim Sherwood is being mentioned for us. Would you take him? I don't think Pulis would fit a club like Newcastle to be honest.

I guess the poster hasn't actually spoken with fans of NUFC or read the many threads on our board otherwise he wouldn't say we had unreasonably high expectations at all.
All we want is to see the team have a go, play half decent football and have a club structure we can be proud of.
These three cornerstones of ANY club I see as being the basic requirements.
I guess the poster has been reading too much of what's written in the papers...

I suspect the sb part of that chap's username standards for "stupid bastard", because he only has to mosey on over to this board to realise "impossibly high expectations from fans" hasn't applied to our support since the f**ing 90s <ok>

Redknapp should be sacked first. He at least has decent players to pick, and he's doing atrociously with them... And he's wasted his wage budget on Rio "past it 3 years ago" Ferdinand.

Guilty as charged lads, I didn't realise that you have revised your hopes so far downwards, I don't 'mosey on down' this board very often. Still, your expectations have to be higher than ours which reside at 'please can we have a team that tries, no matter what the result is, and have a coach that gets up and shouts once or twice a game?'

Good luck, I don't think you are in the mire quite as much as we are.

So who'd you be looking for to come in if Pards did finally get the bullet?

I hear Gary Megson's out of work

Eddie Howe, Schteve McClaren, Stuart Pearce, Cristiano Ronaldo (player manager)

Oh and Sol Campbell. Otherwise he'll accuse us of being racist.

I'm not on the wind-up here, but you can see that only half the team are playing for Droopy at QPR.

They are nailed-on for relegation in my eyes.

Fernandez believes in Redknapp so utterly that it's costing him millions - he shows no sign of sacking him or even talking about it - and you really have to question the sincerity and the integrity that some QPR players are showing.

Rio Ferdinand being the prime example. If he had any class, he would have retired from Manchester United when his contract expired or even gone abroad like Vidic and Evra did. No, Rio decided the mountain of cash coming his way from the pocket of Tony Fernandes was too good to turn down. Despite the fact he would be playing against his 'beloved' Manchester United.

I think Pardew will get sacked in December just after the Burnley game. If Newcastle United are not clear of the relegation places by then, Pardew will go and David Moyes / Tony Pulis will be brought in.

You're spot on Joker. Can't argue with a word of it.

Moyes, that looked like half a spoof and half serious. Would Schteve be all that bad? Or Howe? Even Pearce is level top the Championship.

I know there's better candidates out there (like your namesake) but there's worse aswell.

I love how stupid Rio Ferdinand is, selling a book saying David Moyes is ****, when he's been a liability for 3 seasons. I love that QPR's manager and owner are even bigger morons though, employing the useless git. That's one team we'll thrash in the championship next year <ok>

I live in Bournemouth and go to the games sometimes. Eddie is a top notch manager but he seems to just like keeping it low key and getting on with the job without making much fuss. No way he would get that opportunity with us. Would like it if he did though because I think he is an excellent coach, tactician and people manager.

That's why I wasn't sure whether Moyes was being serious or on the wind up with the first few names, Seabass.

It seemed like an odd selection if you're taking the piss, even odder that Shed Fred thought it was funny! Maybe SB's comments about a lot of Newkie fans having too high of a station for themselves does hold some water after all.

Look, its off how P4rdew is still in a job....

But maybe we have been looking at it all wrong.

Maybe P4rdew has something over Ashley. Something big that if Ashley upsets P4rdew (and did sack him) then P4rdew has something that could seriously dent Ashley's empire?

A love affair maybe, or he had an affair with P4rdews wife and the payoff is this long contract. Some dodgy business dealing which would destroy Sports Direct.

I still find it strange when Hughton was sacked that out of no-where P4rdew was offered the job?

Has anyone discussed or thought about this?

It's the gambling debt and he won't let him go until it's paid off. He has probably also told him that he will also add any loss in club value due to relegation to the amount owed so we could be stuck with Pardew for the foreseeable future.

I was deadly serious about 3 of the 5. Obviously I don't want Sol Campbell, and I know Pearce won't leave Forest........

I have a lot of time for Howe. He'd be my preferred choice, I just fancy watching something a bit more modern. I think an injection of enthusiasm from a younger manager would be good. I was never sure with Pearce with the 21's but he is doing well and has picked up some useful experience. Schteve likewise. Well travelled and I like a manager who is will to study and learn like Bobby Robson did.

Of course if Cristiano does fancy it....
