I prefer to remain anonymous on the message boards, I can't really say what I do without giving away who I am(at least to some people), but I am local, I was born near East Park. I moved to London when I was eighteen. I made a few bob and moved back twenty years ago, having been in London for ten years, my business is still based there, but I work from here most of the time, spending just a couple of days a week in my office.
Where did Garcia play? It might be an indication as to whether we'll see him on the wing in the next few first team games or not. As for Cullen, he was awesome for the juniors and reserves last season, and whenever he played for the first team he scored. He played a few friendlies in pre-season and scored in just about every one of them, and also in his start against Brentford in the League cup. People were right to get excited about him. His only chances were at the start of the season when Simpson was also being blooded into the side and both of them were crap. Since then, Simpson has had chances with a proper midfield and good service and he's been much better, Cullen might do that as well. That said, he was rubbish at his Bradford loan it seems, but he's still 18 and he's one for the future. Give the lad a chance.
I dont think he's in the same mold as cairney or cooper though. These guys have already proven (cairney in prem and cooper in league one) that they can compete and perform regularly. Cullen looks a bit of a hit and miss player, take the end of last season for example, played well a against wigan and played Ok against liverpool (should've scored that bloody header) but whenever I've seen him this season he's looked timid and generally not very good. He seems quite slow and doesn't get in enough positions to score goals. That said, he didn't have anywhere near the type of service fryatts had.
I don't know what's happened with Cullen, he's played 18 games for us this season and he's looked poor in about 18 of them. He may have scored at Brentford, but he was terrible in that game(though so were the rest of the team) and there was one game(Barnsley?) where he seemed to be off-side for the entire match. We need to get him out on loan in League One or Two, so he can try and regain some of his confidence.
I think most the old 606 lot know who you are since it got spilled once or twice, and anyone who knows you would pick up on the name in an instant eh? Still your secrets safe with me scooterman Unless of course you had a fake name on those 'pieces of evidence' shall I call them (don't want to give anything away) in which case I haven't a ****ing clue who you are
Last season, from what I saw, I thought Cullen looked like he would turn into a 'fairly good' player. This season, from what I've seen, I think Cullen will turn into a 'crap' player. Learn the offside rule for ****s sake Mark, you're EIGHTEEN and you are a FORWARD. If you don't know it now you never will. PS. I doubt he'll read that.
