Hello Bristol City fans.
First post for me, just wanna say hello and ask a question.

Don't know if this has been brought up before...if it has apologies.
Anybody heard of this guy Energy Murambadoro?

My friend told me he's a keeper and he saw on Transfermarkt.co.uk that he is signing for City on the 1st July.
I had a look and he's on there under transfers with Wynter and Flint. He's 31 and a Zimbabwe international.

Is this a reliable website or a load of rubbish? I ask 'cause you guys seem to know what's going on.

Thanks.

Welcome LVR

He has been on the transfer market under us for a while now, Nobody really knows who is is and if there is any truth in it. I personally don't think there is but you never know, He could be one of the keepers we are having on trial in pre season.

Enjoy the forum <ok>

This is the wiki entry for him

ZIMBABWEAN goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro is back at South African Premier Soccer League club Wits, after spending the 2012/13 season without a club.

Laduma

Although Murambadoro has been given the task of training the young goalkeepers on his return to the side, the Siya crew has been informed that the player has his sights set on returning to the first team.

“Energy is back at Wits. He is coaching the youngsters at the moment. The team’s goalkeepers are injured at the moment and he wants to try and make a bid for the position. The player’s return to the first team is something that still needs to be discussed further with all parties involved,” a source close to the player revealed.
He though appears to have gone from the transfermkt as signing for Bristol City.

Thank goodness he's disappeared off our radar because he was starting to sound like that Egyptian we almost signed a few years back. Welcome to our board from Canada.
