Good day gents Cardiff supporter here, I notice that Steven W has rejected a new contract with you, do you think he could do a job for us, I realise that we are probably not that popular with you atm given our signing of Conway and interest in Goodie but would appreciate your thoughts, although I may regret that :emoticon-0112-wonde

I just wonder if he's good enough for us. Must be a big jump for the lad from the SPL to the Championship.

I can't see him knocking back a new deal at Ibrox to sign for Cardiff, that would be stupid. He must have better options than Cardiff and Conway has one good game to every five **** ones so I'm sure Rangers won't be too fussed about that.

tbh mate if you are losing players to a championship team i would be alarmed as a rangers fan, you play in the champions league yet players still feel they will progress further in a championship team <ok>

on a more serious note, whittaker seems like a solid player, he could go a job for us but i wouldnt want to pay any mroe than £1m for him, he's only got one year left of his contract, we could get him for free next year <ok>

Maybe he just likes being with a big fish in a small pond.

On the other hand, being with a small (ish) fish in a big pond has it's attractions - like playing decent opposition every week rather than 4 times a year.

There's also the chance of something better to go for rather than just living in fear of losing out to the only other real club up there.

If safe is best, then he'll stay. <ok>

    No sweat PrestonBear. <ok>.

Like I said, if safe is best, he'll stay..............you've just proved my point.

Four old firm games a season and being turfed out of the Champions League at the first hurdle might be just up his street and who could blame him.........on the other hand, Glandford Park in the rain has its' attractions. :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:
