Having not watched any football yesterday I can't have a think.

Why not just add to the discussion with the details of what you think this ref (not sure which one) has done to pee you off - that way I can look at it and discuss it.

Otherwise without information it becomes one of ACS's ****ey topic starters! :bandit:

Ah right! Thought it was a ref making a mistake!

If anything the FA need to do more to clamp out players berating the ref and linesman (not bloody assistant refs as they shy away from decisions) - they originally started to do this with allowing the captain only speaking to the ref, but then they let it go so players continued. The ref needs to man up a bit and tell them if they continue they will be booked and then sodding book them. Referees are like the ****e teachers to try and want to be the kids friends rather than instilling discipline and punishing those who do not follow the rules. Maybe we could get some of the players to hold up a picture of the ref and glum face and get them in the Daily Fail. Then have thousands of Daily Fail readers commenting that having earrings in their ears doesn't affect their football!

Tough one. I piss and moan when I see anyone else do it but I think it shows determination when I see our players and Benitez do it, absolute hypocrite.
I also laughed at Merino's dive, despite wanting to kill Ashley Young for it back in the day

Seems like the mourinho way has taken him over, Herrera's a little twat n all.

notice how with the rule changes on diving the whole teams suddenly stopped flopping all over the place

Said similar on our board when you see Lovren get booked for moaning at the ref he didn't get a pen that was a decent shout...

then MOTD has to blur Rooneys mouth 5 times as he walked off the pitch screaming at the ref for not getting a foul when was an accidental collision.

Ive no issue with Lovren being booked for arguing with ref, but when Rooney is getting away with something 10 times worse it pisses you off. Seems like some refs just let it happen and some will sometimes punish it but there's no consistency in it.

Players are to blame but the refs refs only have themselves to blame a lot of the time. They just don't do anything about it despite having the power to. No fan is going to moan if a ref books every player that goes a go at him and swearing shouting in their face etc

I thought Rooneys was a natural human reaction to be honest - sometimes even when the intent is not there you lose your temper and think it's been done on purpose.

It's not consistent though. So I can see you either apply it across the board or not at all. If you don't apply it you would probably have mayhem with refs getting pushed and surrounded.

But is it understandable every timenue does if?
If you went out and said it id say definitely all out mayhem, however hounding the ref is the new diving, as much as you allow it you pretty much condone it in the eyes of players and manager

It'll get too far past a point to look back and.change eventually

Rooney should have had many more red cards in his career. His behaviour is a real joke at times.
