The fact we got hammered or that people will talk about a power shift while conveniently ignoring that at 11 vs 11 it was an even game. Before Johnny Evans sending off it was anyone's game. We weren't playing particularly well but we had seen plenty of the ball and Man City hadn't created anything over than their goal.
I find the annoying part how you think it was an even game, you hadn't even had a shot in the first half.
Apart from the ones Hart saved from Anderson and Rooney. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to watch them on MOTD2 with your box of tissues...
I'm not crying mate, I'm happy we drew at Liverpool this weekend whilst attacking - unlike your glorious selves. Chin up
Utd had the better of the first 15 minutes - after that they were completely dominated in my opinion. Don't blame the sending off for conceding 6 goals at home.
I guess you missed the half time score. Was only even for the first 20 minutes...then Man City took control.
They barely had a shot on target for the first half apart from their goal. But no excuses can condone how we rolled over and conceded those last 3 goals. After how City played and what happened, I thought 3-0 was a fair enough result.
Are you for real? It didn't look an even game to me when it was 11 v 11. Why don't you just hold your hands up and say Utd were totally outclassed by City? Open your eyes man
City would've beaten us if it was 11 v 11, albeit by a narrow scoreline. Their midfield would've got on top of ours eventually.
Read it again. He didn't they would win eventually, he said their midfield would get ontop eventually. Which they obviously weren't before evans went off because we had more possetion. How is that deluded and 2-0 is a narrower scoreline.
If you want to look it at that way, fine. On 46 minutes the ball was going in the net to make it 2-0. Evans had no choice but to foul and get sent off. Sounds like Man City very much in control. Obviously its hard to get anything from a game when you go down to 10 men but a team like United should be able to park the bus and try to hit on the counter and attempt to get something from the game. The obvious gulf in quality meant they had no chance of doing that and instead got a hiding. Would be foolish to try and suggest they were "evenly" matched before then. City had the measure of United after 15 minutes and bossed the game. The fact that Rooney was essentially a left back for good chunks of the game made this clear.
Yes i agree. I never said there was any defence for the second half, but for the first 45 it was even. We had more possetion but city looked dangerous on the counter. then we fell apart in a way that was shamefull.
better get used to looking up the table at city, they will be there all season and thereafter, unless some megarich arab buys united
