    If this isn't the perfect game for him to start then I don't know what is. Unless we should take it as a hint that Pardew sees him more involved in the first team than expected this year. Other than that I'm delighted (Perch aside) but not quite sure who goes where in the midfield. I'm expecting:

    Elliott
    Simpson Perch Colla Fergie
    Abeid Gosling Guthrie Marveax
    HBA
    Lover

    Abeid and Gosling could be the other way round though

    I want him to have chances to show what he can do from the start though, he's earned it more than Gosling I think

    shame merits a place more than the lover but any time is good time for him i guess hopefully he'll come on for benny after to 60 mins to make sure he dosnt strain himself

    Leaving Sammy for around 75mins if we're struggling is wise imo, though the Lovenkrands lone striker choice is odd. Regardless, Sammy is the sort of player a tired defense would hate.
