Hats off to all at Gillingham FC for what has been achieved to date, I personally was hoping for a strong mid-table with a push for the play-offs but i am starting to think an automatic place is not out of the question (dare I say Champions!! another league title so soon)

So where will we finish, well why not im going for Champions!!!

    and what do you think?

It really is heart-warming that Gills fans should have such optimism (especially going into the 2nd half of a season ).
Our match v Burton was ruined as a contest because of the sending off.

Against Millwall, we were looking good before our first goal. After their keeper was sent off we were in control

Against Swindon we were in total control ( after one moment of lapse of concentration allowed them to take the lead ). Given that Swindon had won four consecutive games, Gills totally dominated the entire game. Optimism will not be ill placed if we perform like we did at Swindon for all our remaining games.

I think between 4th and 2nd. I personally feel Coventry will win the league and then the rest is up for grabs. I wasn't at Swindon but the reports are very positive BUT in typical Gills fashion we must not fail against Colchester. If we can get a win then I will be a lot more positive but we often let ourselves down when playing the smaller teams (although perhaps not so much this year).

For me, it's 8-9 more points for safety. Then see how we go from there. Still feel we are seriously punching above our weight, and am waiting for the inevitable bad run to happen... but who knows. I'm enjoying the season so far.

If we're punching above our weight then Burton certainly are with their team...........
