So, I have decided to give up playing sport on Saturday in favour of going to as many home games as the ball and chain will let me. I am considering to attempt to buy at least two of the 4 game packages that come on sale this Monday for bronze members. Any advise/discussion on which seat selection to purchase (south/west and upper/lower etc. )for atmosphere/view would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
South lower's the loudest, whilst south upper and East lower(in the south corner) have a good atmosphere but with better views, making them a bit more expensive. Thanks for the heads up though, I'd only glanced at those new ticket packages and didn't realise they were going on sale so soon. Anyone worked out if it even saves you any money?
I am surprised Spurs get away without criticism on this scheme. They charge extra on membership fees for the "privilege" of being in the queue for a season ticket, yet then have the bare faced cheek to offer a 16 game deal on a first come, first served basis, rather than offer it to those at the front of the season ticket waiting list. It doesn't affect me, but if it did, then I would be inclined to make a complaint. I am also staggered that no-one as yet, has taken the club to task on their new and very obscene partnership with Stub Hub, which basically endorses the selling of tickets at any price the seller decides. Mark my words, when the season is under way, he club will be getting dogs abuse when the full impact of this new arrangement is realised.
The stub-hub deal has got a few murmouring... http://fsf.org.uk/blog/view/Fans-say-no-to-legalised-touts
OS Totally agree re stub hub. It's making it easier (& legal) for touts to operate. I don't think the club have thought this through. I've got a ST so this won't affect me but I feel for others who will get ripped off by the touts.
Hadn't thought about it like that to be honest. I just thought it was a good way of helping sell out games that might normally struggle to. As for Stub Hub, I had no idea what it was, I figured they just didn't want the resale of tickets for games that people can't attend on the seating plan anymore as it makes it look like we haven't sold out when we have. I hardly ever see touts now that most have their tickets put onto their membership cards but presumably this makes it easier for them again.
Thank you for the replies, was away over weekend and completely forgot about the packages until 9.25 this morning. However, I have just bought packages 1 and 4 in South upper. So role on Swansea!
