The place has died on its arse, it was always going to happen. Never took the chance to make the forum any good after making the switch from SPN. Everyone was happy with a wee gang hut, so thats what we now have. No debate or banter, no **** logging in, cos its ****e. I said at the start what needed to be done if we wanted a busy forum but got shouted out. Mick/Muir - cant be arsed but its not all their fault. Forums evolve according to the users so we've pretty much got the forum we deserve. I only ever get interested on here when Venom is on so I can get a fake fight on the go. This place is pish, 606 is much better which is why I spend more time on there now.
As FTT says, it's been on the cards for a while... SPN went the same way. Just same old pish. The amount of times I have came on and seen a few members logged on (with more guests) but no new threads for over an hour!! It's looks pish - especially for guests looking in. Guests get too much to view, so sit and watch - needs to a wee bit be more restrictive to encourage people to sign up. Also, I guess the "free for all" puts some folk off i.e some of the thread titles are a bit too much sometimes and we all get carried away with swearin in them, but folk won't use it work.
And Newsbot's a pian in the arse, filling the board wi pish... Sometimes it's just him tho making the board look worse for guests!
We should have have 2 boards, one for football with no swearing in thread titles the other off topic and hidden to guests allowing a free for all. Articles should have been encouraged and a sticky made for everyones suggestions to take the place forward. None of that was done, we made an arse of it and we've got the result.
Be as well just shutting the place down, its ****e. Couple of years ago when mick set up SPN it was great to be able to say and talk about whatever you wanted, but the novelty wears off.
It's pretty crap at the moment, and I agree with some of Frank's points. The football boards are ****r, only newsbot posts on them FFS. A member's area should have been set up ( as on some other forums ) Lost a few good posters as well
