Has anyone any information regarding our beloved Fratton End clock? So I understand, it was finally taken down after a couple of seasons stuck on twenty to seven- which was very frustrating as i habitually looked up at it every now and again to check the minutes left to half or full time- as you do, even though the bloody thing had stopped!

I know it was one of Convers priorities. I just hope Antonov hasn't pawned it!

Was it not taken down for repairs, and replaced with the electronic clock on the big screen?

I don't think we owned the clock, FFD.

I understand we were buying it "on tick"............

    I'll get my coat <laugh>

I gather it was taken down for repairs Jakey, but I always thought they'd put it back where they found it afterwards!

That electronic one on the scoreboard just does it's own thing- it's terrible.

Meowth, are your namesake and Pikachu holding hands in your avatar?? I don't remember Pikachu and Meowth having a cordial relationship!

Ha ha! Actually there are a few episodes where Meowth and Pikachu interact. Meowth translates what the other Pokémon are saying quite often too.

There is one episode where they all get seperated from their respective trainers and subtitles are used, to tell us what they are really saying to each other, even though all they say is their names over and over.

Except Meowth of course. He learned to talk, but that's another story.

He is skipping with Pikachu and Mime Jr in my current avatar

Perhaps Channon should dial the number of his local Horologist - a bit like "phone a friend", but in his case he would probably end up with time on his hands.

.........don't worry, I am still wearing my coat........... :emoticon-0139-bow:

Could the delay be down to including a chime mechanism every quarter hour ? A useful addition on the 'face' of it <ok>

I've heard ther's no 'movement' on the clock yet. Maybe the repair firm is on 'strike'.
