When have we forgotten how to support our team ? If ever there was a game when we needed to get right behind our players from start to finish it was today..However, the atmosphere was more akin to funeral march, which must have been great for the away team...
I just can't get my head round it..

I think you should stop blaming the fans & the refs when Sunderland don't win. after last weeks **** we were lucky to get close to 44,000.

Start blaming the rubbish players & the clueless ****ing manager we got.

Probably due to the general drudgery and false dawns thats been served up to them for the last few seasons! The entertainment has been woeful since halfway through Bruce's reign and thats despite millions being spent on players! That frustration has rubbed off on the average fickle fan! Doesnt make it right though! Even when we were proper, proper ****e, the players seemed to try their best! For the past few seasons that could be open for debate! Supporters maybe getting disillusioned with multi millionaires not pulling their weight and showing far less heart than the fans in the past have showed! Though why they would continue to go and watch them is beyond me if they dont show the players their full support!

    Aye alright <laugh>

    FA cup quarter final
    League cup final
Pulled us from bottom and with a fighting chance of staying up.

    How do we please you?

Big deal he got to a cup final but we lost. even ****ing O'Neill got us to a FA cup quarter final but at least he didn't toss the game away like what Poyet did.

Let's get it right, we got ****ing no hope in staying up.

Poyet has done and will make mistakes, but he certainly HAS given us hope of stopping up! He took over a team who were certain for the drop and turned us into possibilities/probabilities for the drop! Even after today, to find ourselves in this position and being given a fighting chance has been a minor miracle and i would have been ecstatic if i was told in October that we'd be in this league position today! The frustrating thing is, is that the wheels have certainly come off over the past month! Just at a time when a win or two would have seen us relaxed and more confident of safety! Typical Sunderland however means that we as supporters must continue to suffer for as long as possible! The Hull league defeat was damaging! A win in that one and i personally would have thought we'd be laughing!

It's not blaming the fans though, is it?

Support is to get behind something, to try and help it, aid it.

Saying '**** that players ****, blah blah', that's not support.

So, let's say we go down by a point, who's to know that a roaring atmosphere didn't drive that misfiring team over the line in one game, and then, we stay up by 2 points.

I'm with RAW 100%, we simply do not back and support the team, Old Trafford, Wembley, if the team had that every home game, without question oppo would be intimidated, our lads lifted, and we'd have more points.

    No question about it.

If it wasn't for the cup runs mate I tell you now Poyet would be getting more stick than his getting now. the team selection was a f**king joke today. what was he thinking in picking Larsson, Bridcutt & f**king scottish w**ker Fletcher? when I seen the team news I knew we wouldn't win.

The fans did try to get behind the team today tho. the atmosphere was better today than it was against hull & that. plus people like you & Raw are in ****ing dream world if you think you going to get atmosphere like it was under Peter Reid.

Why are we in a dream world? Same people go to the match.

I see atmosphere at every ground in the league bar us & Fulham, tell me, why are we different?

Have we had it worse than WBA? Palace? Mags?

Have we ****. It's our problem, us the fans, we can fix it, or we can do **** all whilst telling the world how much we care about the club we fail to support.

No it isn't, you clearly don't get to many away games.

And resorting to names and such, when you are clearly thick as pig ****, can't use punctuation, and have about as much respect at Pardew at a kids club, just cheapens your already ****ing hapless opinions further.

**** right off you utter ****ing oxygen thief.

First ever SAFC fan I'm putting on ignore.

Plus there is miles more women & kids going to games than it was under Reid so the same people don't go to matchs. what about the age's of fans now. miles more older men going than lads like me in the 20s.

And you know this how? And you can't go to 'miles more' games, that's poor English, thick ****.

Games aren't, and cannot be, measured in miles.
