To be honest, I think you'll be hard pushed to find anyone who hasn't said they're going for a chinkies, or similar.

 

Agree on that point Somb but I think the main problem is that he is in a massive position of influence and is in the public eye so should know better.

 

Indeed. But saying it to your misses / mates in a non racial way is one thing. Going to the media every couple of weeks and adding to the last lot of **** that you spouted is another thing entirely. The guy just needs to eat some humble pie, apologise and keep his mouth shut. He is from a different generation where these things were tolerated perhaps a little more, but you just cant say those sort of things today. Whelan always has too much to say............... but this time he needs to shut the **** up because he is coming across as a right old out of touch tosser.

 

Careful, that's ageist and you could get in all sorts of bother if the media get their hands on this!
