    So the two biggest clubs in the country both took a hammering today, which is worse out of:

    - Losing 6-1 at home to Spurs playing over half the match with ten men.

    - Losing 7-2 away to Aston Villa.

    I think losing by 5 goals to a team who were in the championship 18 months ago is worse than losing by 5 goals to a team who were in the champions league final 18 months ago.

    To be fair to United, there’s no real humiliation in getting hammered by Spurs, not with the team we have and one of the world’s greatest managers. It’s been on the cards that someone was going to take a right pasting off us. It’s just a pity that it had to be United at OT.
