Sheffield Wdnesday are 149 years old today and have decided to change their badge. May be a commercial decision or a rejuvenation one or a back to traditioal values one. I don't know. However, since our new Commercial Executive, Casper Stylsvig, appears to be trying all sorts to raise revenue and next year will be the 40th anniversary of Adidas first manufacturing our kit, would 2017 be a good time to change our badge?

Here they are since the first one in 1931 to date:

    Footnote:
Umbro was our first shirt manufacturer (in 1974) and William Younger our first shirt sponsor (in 1984)

My favourite is still the one that appears above the current one in Cottager's pic. That said, I can't see them making a change. Whatever the flaws of the current design, it scores very highly for brand recognition, which is what the marketing types will be must concerned about. People see it and recognise it as Fulham, which wasn't (apparently) the case with its predecessor.

Third from left top row, the 50s badge, not sure but i think this was dropped due to the fact it was the Fulham council
    badge.
This badge can be seen on the balustrade around the perimeter of the small ornamental lake in Bishops park
where it as stood for over 100 yrs
