We always say that and former player etc never goes on to be successful when they have left the Swans. Now who do we perceive that has gone on and been successful at another club? You could say Lampard, but he was only on loan.

fans assume that just because they play for us that they should stay with us <laugh> WHY?? They are doing a job of work and that's it in a nut shell....what fans think is neither here or there as they move for various reasons, Look at dorus and pratters for instance, They left us for their own reasons instead of promotion with us and are both still playing football. It goes the other way as well where players leave other clubs and join us.......nothing to do with the grass is greener at all, they move because they can and whether it is a good move is not the issue....some will be a good move even though in the fans mind we may think its a bad move but who are we to say what is good and what is a bad move.........If players were that bothered then why do we see players holding out for better contracts all the time and move on if they dont get them by running their contracts down....Its a job to them and that's all it is and as long as they are happy and the club is happy a player will stay and collect his wages until he is required no more....

"Now who do we perceive that has gone on and be successful at another Club".

Once a player decides to leave a Club, for whatever reason,"we",i.e.the fans', need to understand that they are in no way able to decide the success,or otherwise,of the player, and they can "perceive" what they like.
Only the player can decide what constitutes success in his World.
Sinclair, for instance, has more than doubled his wages. Is that not being "successful"?
Scotland had a huge pay rise at Wigan. Do you really think he was unsuccessful? I doubt that he does.
    I could go on,but there's no point.

Players and Managers will move, they always have and they always will.

Supporters have to deal with that fact and stop behaving like jilted teenagers.

Libby I guess after helping pay someone's wages and helping create and environment where they are able to progress - we should be allowed our opinion?
If this is only a job then it's a well paid one and being villified is also part of the job - you can't have it both ways Libby
    - They're entitled to move but we're not entitled to villify?
