I think with both our strikers being under 21 we need an experienced head around them and I'd personally like to see Cisse given a shot up top with Mitrovic as he needs a big man around him to knock balls down for him and fire off snap shots. He is not the forward to beat a man one v one and then get a shot off but a fox in the box who scores tap ins. I struggle to think of to many goals where he has more than 2 touches before firing a shot home, usually a ball across the face of goal that goes in off his knee or a first time wonder shot.

Weirdly enough I think against the big teams it should be Mitro and Perez as they both run themselves into the ground for the cause which you need vs those teams but against the "lesser" teams Cisse should get a shot (if fit) as he is a clinical finisher.

 

In my humble opinion, what we should do now is be patient. Tiote, SDJ are coming back from large periods out and can - on previous form - add a lot to this team. Sissoko is playing, finally, Gini is top class and Perez/Mitro also need more time. Tiote potentially solves a huge DM problem.

In January, Cisse has to be replaced with experience and quality to ensure we have Mitro, Perez, SJD and one other as options. Leave Arma where he is. We need a CB and a LB, plus probably a more commanding CM. Not sure it's more complicated than that.
