Of the development side? We never see these lads given a chance despite those who are constantly picked leading us to the bottom of the league?
Kinda answered your own question there mate The point of it is so players who don't play in the first team, mainly young players can play some football
I'm pretty gutted a lot of youth didn't get a chance today. Was really looking forward to seeing them.
I did lol but it's frustrating that the like of Gardner, Colback, Larsson were selected for the game when they are gone in the summer if not sooner! Surely Gus should have been looking at Cabral etc. I can only guess this lad is leaving in January.
If we sell Cabral for 2-3 million that represents a great bit of business for us considering we got him for free six months ago. Letting him go for any less, I can't see happening with his champions league experience. We'd be better off served keeping him and hoping he settles in.
I've had a few down the local watching the footy all afternoon, so maybe I can't see it, but someone please enlighten me, why can't a player with Champions League experience cut the mustard for us in the PL?
Thanks for the feedback. If it's down to attitude then get rid of him. No waiting for if's and but's! I don't want someone taking what young lads earn in a year to watch the lads every ****ing week bleeding us dry anymore!
As for the original question in the original post... Days like today when young Duncan and El Hadji star is the reason for our development squad!
