    With Hughes quitting Fulham and Villa saying they aren't interested in appointing him - Hughes actually quit to come to WHL because Harry is on his way to Chelsea...

    Just playing devil's advocate here.

    He's been linked with Bayern Munich, apparently.

    We'll find out where Hiddink's future lies in the next couple of days.

    He had a loan spell there as a player didn't he. I think it would be good for one of our most talented young managers to get experience managing in Germany, getting an insight into their academy set-up etc. As a possible future England manager it can only be good for our football if this happens, especially considering that the German football is massively on the up.

    Does that mean he couldn't ever manage England? He's still British and Wrexham where he was born is barely Wales anyway.
    It's not like he's as foreign as Capello and English managers have managed Wales before.

    What if Hughes goes to Munich, Redknapp goes to Chelsea and we get.... Rafa <yikes>

    I think I might actually have to get counselling.

    You're right, FA probably wouldn't appoint a Welsh manager though. :/

    Hughes might not want the England job because he's Welsh, never mind the other way round!
    He might fancy another go at being a national coach when he's older, but I think it's becoming something that only young or old managers do, to prove themselves or to see out their careers.

    I find Hughes a bit of a depressive character,certainly not for us.

    He also played for Barca.

    Harry -> Chelski
    Hughes -> Barca
    Guardiola -> Spurs

    Sorted!
