...Hatem Ben Arfa returns, but turns out to be no good???

Having seen his debut against Blackpool (from the top row...) I appreciate that the chances of this happening are as remote as the chances of going into Nick Clegg's house and not seeing a signed picture of David Cameron on the wall. But I do think the club should be making plans of what to do if it does turn out to be rubbish, or he breaks his leg again and is forced to retire. We can't just go around saying 'It's ok, Ben Arfa is back soon.'

P.S. I have every faith that he will be awesome, but also have a feeling that MA will sell him for £15mill profit in January next year.

Just a risk that we have taken. I believe he will be just as good though, after a while.

From what I've heard, Ben Arfa in training has seemed to be as strong as ever and he feels great. I sure hope this is the case.

Is it that much of a risk...£6m?

He's a French International with a ridiculous amount of skill and potential. He needs an arm round his shoulder, an adoring crowd and an understanding/tight-knit team around him...I personally think he will thrive at Newcastle

    BUT

Like I said, at £6m, is it really THAT much of a risk?

It is a risk for a player who has had a bad injury. but you have to ask yourself " What if he turns out to be world class ?".

Is always a possibility when a player gets injured like that, but what if he comes back and is awesome...

It is a bargain. Its not risky at all.

Although I hate comparing our players to past heroes. Ben Arfa should earn his own name so to speak. He will be a hero in his own right if he lives up to his hype and not because he is similar to any previous player.
