Wondering if in hindsight it would have been better that we'd lost to Derby a year ago...?

HR would have left the club, a new Manager would have been instilled. Younger, hungrier players would have been brought in...

Think we have gone 1 step forward, two steps back this season...

All ifs and buts.....hindsight is a wonderful thing. Let's look forward now and enjoy the coming Championship season, and all that it brings.

In hindsight you may well be right, never thought of the "What If?" to be honest.
If I didn't have to sacrifice that glorious win at Wembley last year I would say a loss would have been better for the club knowing where we have ended up now.
I'm looking forward to the next season regardless and would not change experiencing that moment for anything but we would more than likely be in a better position than we are now

I would not have missed last May and the euphoria of OBZ's late winner for the world. Celebrating with 40,000 R's fans as we win against the odds at the home of football? Yes please. Moments like that appear few and far between for QPR fans.

    A big, fat "NO".

We have a much better chance of a complete rebuild this year with the number of contracts up.

If we had stayed in the championship last year we would have brought in a few players but they would have joined a broken system (no matter who was the manager). I would have been afraid for our survival having to play the likes of SWP.

We would have found it impossible to shift players on high salaries (not necessarily the better players!) and therefore the rebuilding process would have been delayed. At least this time it will cost us less to get rid of Adel and Traore (even if we pay the $%&*s off), and we can make a choice on which players to re-employ (if any) of those whose contracts are up.

We would have had to face the FFP problem much earlier. At least now the lawyers have had a year to think about it!

Yes, it has been a sh!tty year but now we can rebuild properly.

    Oh yes, and this .....

Without doubt one of the best football experiences of my life, those singular moments are what distinguish you from other fans of different clubs. No disrespect to any other club but I couldn't support anyone else, the emotional 'roller coaster' that is QPR is unique for the lowest lows to the highest highs. Just look at our history and as Oliie said 'we will rise again'.

Fantastic day out. Except for the first 90 odd minutes of the game itself. Which people seem to forget about. We would be in a worse position without a doubt. 80 million worse and still facing the same financial worries as we'd heavily overspent that season. Rebuilding might have started a year earlier but who would we have got once Redknapp's knees packed in...more of the same I bet.
