The following two questions are purely theoretical, I am in no way suggesting that Harry will be found guilty, or if he was, that he would cease to be our manager.

    1. If for whatever reason Harry is no longer at the club in 2 weeks time, who would you get in to replace him?

    2. Regardless of the court case, do you think that Harry is capable of taking us to the next level? When he was brought in he was charged with bringing stability to a club in turmoil at the bottom of the league, he has achieved that commendably and exceeded all expectations, but should we be thinking of bringing in a different manager now that we have very different aspirations?

    1. Short notice. Probably a temporary appointment until the end of the season, as nobody decent is available, are they?

    2. Not convinced. He's done very well for us overall, but he never rotates the squad and that's essential if you're in Europe.

I'd go with PNP on the first point. Probably give it to Clive Allen until the end of the season. On the second point, I have mixed feelings. Harry has his strong points, such as balancing the team - something we've needed for a long time. He's a terrific man manager, and seems to be a good motivator. On the other side, as PNP said, his player and team selection are questionable at times, as are his tactics. Do I believe he could win us the title? Yes, I do. Provided he gets the necessary financial backing from Levy & the board.

Terry Venables until the end of the season.

In the summer go for Guus Hiddink or Jose Mourinho.

He'll get us playing flowing, attacking, stylish football.

It's ok, you're not on the Liverpool board.

  11. That rules your bunch of tossers out then - and the way things are going King Kenny may not be around to long, so you'd better start looking at alternatives!

I think our owners are probably already considering other options to be honest, and I don't think you lot have anything to worry about, I expect the corrupt FA will keep Harry out of jail as they want him for the England job.

    1. Moyes - On a low budget he's shown great abillity in keeping Everton as a quality team. His loyalty at the club is commendable too and I think we need to be looking for a manager that will stay longterm. With Ancelotti out of the picture there isn't a better manager that we could tempt to our club, in my opinion.

    2. He's taken us so far forward in just a short time, 'Arry's not the only one that deserves credit but I can't see a reason why he couldn't continue to take us forward as long as his health allows him to manage a top flight team.

My only problem with him is as others have said team selection and tactics. I agree managers can't get it right every time, but you don't want too many of them to stay at the top. An example Sunday was if JD had cramp or whatever the fuk it was, basically unfit to complete the last few minutes....why not bring Pav on??? We still had a sub left, it would've wasted a minute, and the game would've finished differently (I'll slap the 1st person that mentions getting on the end of Bales cross...it wouldn't have happened!), more likely in the draw we deserved. This is basic ****, so I'm not convinced.

If it happens in court, then a Caretaker till summer, but you can certainly kiss goodbye the already slim title hopes.

Shame, an open top victory bus starting at the High Road and finishing outside Ford Open Prison would have been a nice day out, nothing like a trip to the seaside. And make the caretaker the manager <yikes> who will clean the away dressing room?

Outsider looking in, why not Chris Hughton ?
Tottenham blood running through his veins, done very little wrong since he left the club in various roles and would surely be welcomed by the fans ?

Sorry, I don't see Chris Hughton as CL (I'd like to think we're good enough to finish in a spot whatever happens) standard.

Very good deedub, its usually me doing that to other people. :)
