Genuine question.. What happened to the Official site? I remember when it was full of people who wanted to debate and be civil to each other.. Even the WUM's weren't kn*b head's.. Tell me about it mate! I was in shock .. Has to be a Celtic fan? I used to post threads like that on the official 606 site in 2007/08 etc and used to have people appreciating post's like that as you may remember.. How times change hey!
The Beeb 606 was more civil but it was moderated to death. In a way, it was a good job the Beeb pulled the plug financially to save licence payers dosh. Its' demise spawned quite a few alternative forums, but this was easily the best of the ones I sampled - long may it continue.
Sorry guys, I wasn't slating this place at all Was just a question as since I "came back" to 606ing I have noticed a lot of animosity, uncivil and even racism on certain boards.. The link I posted was just an example of an idiot I came accross
I wouldn't recommend a trip to General Chat then Unfortunately that's what you get when you take the breaks off moderation a bit. This board has it's ups and downs but it easily the least political City board I've seen.
