I've been a bit in and out of the on-line football fraternity of late and may well have missed this, but, what if anything happened in the aftermath of the boy running on and confronting Harper v Newcastle? and the after-match seat throwing?

Were any penalties brought to bear?

Good question and I think nothing is the answer. Heard nothing about the young lad who ran on and nothing about any sanctions.

I'm not even sure that he has appeared in court as yet...

Cheers lads. . . not just me then.

I do recall immediately following the game that the boy's father, to his great credit, dragged him around both clubs to make personal apologies, and he appeared on Look North looking suitably contrite about the whole episode which appeared to have been an abhoration & totally out of character; maybe in light of those actions the clubs decided to take no further action. Wouldn't explain away the seat throwing elsewhere in the SOL though.

    There was no young lad.

These are not the droids we are looking for.
